Class Description
The 5-7 year-olds program teaches emerging artists the fundamentals of art. Students learn about the principles and elements of art and the basics of color theory in a fun, collaborative environment. We use a variety of mediums including watercolor paint, acrylic paint,oil pastel, chalk pastel, and colored pencil. Students are exposed to many different styles of art, but we mainly focus on how to compose and portray realistic pieces. My goal is to prepare my students by building their art vocabulary, helping them discover their artistic strengths, and giving them the tools and support they need to grow as an artist.
All classes are continuous. It is expected upon enrollment, you will continue throughout the year, paying for every four classes. If you do not intend on staying throughout the year, you must indicate how many blocks or four classes you plan on attending.
